EXPRESS YOURSELF!

People conjure and generate a variety of thoughts, ideas and emotions throughout their everyday life. a person would be considered autistic, the medical term used to describe loss of emotion, if he or she becomes numb with the environment around him or her. Just as what the saying, "No man is an island" implies, humans need to gather up their inner feelings and express they in any manner. Inevitably, other people might not understand what you have in your mind and heart, so the question is, how can you cope up with this problem?
A simple solution to this adversary is by creating you own personal journal for one to open up what's inside of him or her. Today, in our vast and ever growing technological world, online journals, popularly known as blogs, are available anytime for free for those who need it. This way, stress, due to lack of expression is alleviated, and happiness within oneself is obtained.Well, if you think about it, it's not necessarily happiness that you obtain, but for me, it helps me gain a sense of relief, wherein like thorns are removed from your heart and soul because thoughts are set free and not anymore boiling inside of you.
Personally,i know and make use of two quite popular blog sites, namely LiveJournal and Blogger. I have an account in both sites and I know for myself that I have been benefiting from it greatly. I use LiveJournal primarily for myself and with regards to my personal life and Blogger for my English One class, but I also plan on making a personal journal in Blogger, one quite similar to the one I have in LiveJournal. One interesting feature that LiveJournal gives to its users is that it gives you the capability to invite friends to your account and let them have a glimpse on what you have to say, therefore making it easier to connect to friends and also granting them the opportunity to easily comment on your posts. On the other hand, Blogger gives you the power to create multiple blogs in one account wherein in LiveJournal, only one blog can be made. A good thing about both of these blog sites is that once you have an account and a blog created, your blogs are easily customizable to your fancy. I haven't browsed these two sites thoroughly, but all in all, creating a blog is fulfilling to the soul for it helps people, especially problematic ones, have the chance to express oneself to the world and let themselves be known of what they have to say and what they really re inside.

INTIMATE CONNECTIONS

"Few friendships would survive if each one knew what his friend says of him behind his back."
--Blaise Pascal

People, in their natural way of thinking, tend to socialize with other people, and more appropriately, they tend to find people who enjoy and practice similar interests in life as they do. Moreover, as humans spend more time with the people they like to be with, they pour themselves out and create this some sort of intimacy between them. Furthermore, they establish this bond in which we fondly call "friendship" and in short, do things with each other more often than before as the days pass by. However, we dwell in this land of imperfection, and in conclusion, we tend to err sometimes. Regarding friendship, we sometimes notice that our friends suddenly become kind of unappealing due to his or her actions and moreover, his or her thoughts. We sometimes don't want to tell our friends about our observations because we don't want to hurt their feelings: therefore, as a means of giving ourselves relief due to all the pent-up disappointment, we keep secrets behind our friends' backs. Personally, I think that this is rather a bad thing to do due to the reason that our friends might become clueless of what we have in our minds and as a result, misunderstanding can arise. In summary, we need to be true to our friends, so that the bond that lies between you and your friends stay strong for the rest of our lifetime.

EPAL??!?!

EPAL - Pinoy slang for a person who abruptly interrupts a conversation, activity, etc.

Socialization is a necessity for humans. People cannot live without sharing even a tiny bit of their thoughts and ideas. Conversation and other social activities are good, but when you socialize too much to the mere point that you are interfering with other people's lives and ongoing activities, you might want to pause for a while and take a break from your habit. If you don't, people, particularly Filipinos, might shout at you and say, "'Wag ka ngang epal!" Filipinos concoct words out of the blue, and personally, i don't know where the word epal came from. It probably orginated from the Tagalog term kapal, which is a jargon for showy or cocky, and consequently, being epal means that you are showing off, it's just that you are showing off at the wrong time. For instance, if you butt in while your two friends are having a conversation, you might be rendered as epal. Another possible instance that you might be called such is when you intentionally butt in another person's life even though he or she does not want you to. The only important thing to keep in mind is to mind your own business. If a person doesn't want to relate, then let them be, or things might just get worse.
